I have completed numerous accountings pursuant to Probate Code §1061on behalf of their clients, including special needs trusts, probates, trusts, and conservatorships. Some of the accountings require court approval and others are solely for the benefit of the beneficiaries themselves. These accountings typically require balancing the assets on hand at the beginning of the accounting period with the assets on hand end of the accounting period, taking into consideration all receipts received, disbursements made, changes in assets, and distributions made during that period.
I also “flip Houses”. When we have a vacant home due to someone passing or needed to move to a care facility. I secure the property and locate paperwork that needs to be kept and delt with. I arrange for personal items to be shipped to relatives, if needed. Once we are ready to move forward, I arrange to get the house ready to sell or rent. I facilitate the clean out, including hiring an estate sale person, donating items to a local charity, or putting items on consignment. I contact plumbing for well testing, Septic services to check septic, inspections for pest and home. I hire contractors for repairs, landscape services and more.
I have a BA degree in from California State University, Sacramento in 1992. I was a case manager for 7 years at an alternative payment program. I later worked in an elementary school as an administrative assistant. I went back to school to continue my education at University of California, Riverside University Extension and received Certificate of Professional Fiduciary Management in September of 2017. I obtained my Fiduciary license in June of 2019. I have been self-employed as a Professional Fiduciary since that time.
I moved back to Mendocino in 2020 to further my career as a fiduciary. I have been working with attorney Margaret O’Rourke, Margaret Watson of Mendocino Fiduciary and attorney Jone Lemos and attorney Brian Momsen in Ukiah.
I am also a Notary Public.
